Employer satisfaction
- Over 80% of employers surveyed by the CBI were 'satisfied' or 'very satisfied' with the employability skills of graduates.
- Nine out of ten employers reported that graduates have that 'all important positive attitude'.
- The overwhelming majority (97%) of universities thought it likely
or highly likely that their graduates would acquire five out of the seven
employability skills.
- 94% of universities 'agreed' or 'agreed strongly' that they had deliberately tailored their approach to teaching their students to help make themselves more employable with 92% citing additional internally delivered programmes to help students become more employable.
- The majority (84%) of larger firms, with 5,000+ employees have links
