The Quality in Higher Education Group is jointly secretaried by Universities UK, GuildHE, HEFCE and DELNI. It is Chaired by Professor Philip Jones, Vice-Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University.
Its aim is to promote a quality assurance system for higher education in England and Northern Ireland which is accountable, rigorous, transparent, flexible, responsive, enhancement-led and public facing. Its members are drawn from universities, students, an FE college and the Royal Academy of Engineering. In addition, both the Chair and the Chief Executive of the QAA are members, as is the Chief Executive of the HE Academy.
Future meetings will take place on 27 February, 5 July and 25 October 2012.
